Eccentric plug valve
I. Introduction:
The unique eccentric sealing design of the PLVG eccentric plug valve greatly reduces the operating torque compared with traditional plug valves, minimizes the wear of the sealing surface, and extends the service life of the valve. With a rectangular straight-through flow passage, it has small head loss and excellent linear flow regulation. It is suitable for working environments such as urban sewage, industrial sewage, slurry and clean water, and is used as a shut-off or regulating device. The eccentric plug valve overcomes the defects of poor sealing performance and easy corrosion of traditional plug valves. II. Features:
1. An eccentric distance is designed between the center of the valve sealing surface and the rotation axis of the plug. By utilizing the principle of eccentric motion, the plug becomes tighter and tighter when closed, ensuring a tight seal of the valve; when opened, the plug quickly separates from the valve seat with no contact wear, making the operation light and the valve has a long service life.
2. The plug skeleton made of ductile iron is entirely hot-wrapped with high-performance rubber, providing excellent sealing elasticity and eliminating concerns about rubber falling off and erosion corrosion.
3. According to different working media, the valve seat can be made of pure nickel, stainless steel or other special materials, and is compounded with the valve body using new surface treatment technology. It has a firm combination and can resist the erosion of various media.
4. The straight-through flow passage makes the valve have very small head loss; the flow passage section of the valve seat is rectangular, enabling linear flow regulation; the relatively large geometric size of the rectangle and the self-flushing design of the flow passage make it more suitable for occasions with sewage or solid impurities.
5. The valve shaft and the plug are integrally cast, with high strength and torsional transmission rigidity, eliminating the risk of shaft pin failure of traditional plug valves. The bow-shaped plug is nearly half lighter than the traditional plunger, avoids the flow passage when the valve is fully open, and has a guiding effect.
6. The valve body is made of high-strength ductile iron, which is more than 20% lighter than traditional plug valves. The short face-to-face distance of the valve reduces the residence time of the fluid in the flow passage, and the increase in fluid velocity reduces the deposition of impurities.
7. The inner and outer surfaces of the valve are electrostatically sprayed with non-toxic epoxy resin to prevent the valve body from rusting, making it suitable for harsh environments such as sewage systems, outdoors and underground.
